The 8800GT is certainly a great value card for its price, and it covers the needs of the mid- to lower-high-end sector almost completely. Even the most recent games will run completely fluent in reasonable resolutions and max settings; the only issue this card has is its bugged fan speed setting. Out of the box, the card does not adjust its fan speed properly, resulting in rather high temperatures during intensive use. While a tool like RivaTuner can remedy this rather easily, hopefully MSI will release a BIOS update soon that addresses this problem.
Other than that, if you're looking to upgrade your GPU on an average gaming system, look no further; this is it.

Best card I have ever owned
This card was back ordered...it took 5 weeks to come in...but there is a huge shortage of these chips and the MSI 8800GT-OC is very tough to find right now......CompSource had the best price on this card, and customer service was good to deal with...I called them every 10 days or so to check on the back order and they were always friendly and courteous.....I will order from them again
